Friendly Net Watcher is a local area network administration program that enables you to view current and previous connections to your shared files and folders. The program allows you to see the computers and users that are connected to your computer in a tree-like fashion.
Once you highlight a computer, the program will show you additional information about that computer, such as session name, IP address, username, operating system, local time. Moreover, it shows the accessed shared file's path, rights and time.
The program allows you to immediately disconnect any undesired user. You can simply add any remote computer to the kicklist by clicking on the "+" button. Alternatively, you can remove any computer from the kicklist by clicking the "-" button after selecting it from the left panel. The program has shortcut keys and buttons to kick all users according to the kicklist.
The program's options allow you to manage the kicklist, configure many sound notification options, choose your preferred interface language and more. The program can run as a standalone application or as a Windows service.
